“Dr.Prince and his crew are awesome... Everyone was so friendly. Due to my age it has been difficult to find good knowledgeable physicians that are willing to overlook the risks associated with my care. His staff understood the importance of a good quality of life, especially now during my time to be a parent. They informed me about my medical conditions, involved me in treatment plans, and did it without speaking so that I couldn't understand or lecturing. I always give credit to God, but He certainly blessed me with Dr. Prince and his team, not only me but my family. My ability before the surgery was zero, now only six weeks post op I am looking forward to getting back into the work force and am already back to enjoying my children like a young mother should. It is the first time in my entire life that you cant tell there is something wrong with me by looking at me or watching me walk.... I would recommend this doctor and team to anyone! ”

“Thank you Dr. Prince! I can walk! An impossibility before my hip replacement. I'm grateful to you for your excellent skill as a surgeon.

I have had two shoulders replaced and my right hip replaced in the past two years. I'm glad to report that I'm pain free and back to my normal activities plus ATV riding, hiking and keeping up with our grandsons!

Thanks again for your TLC!!”

  • Both Total knee, and right total shoulder replacements

“I am so grateful for modern technology and my talented surgeon, Dr. Prince, who did such an amazing job in all three of my surgeries. He was very kind, professional, and very good at explaining what was going on in my body and what we needed to do to fix it. I felt he cared about me as a person, he was truly concerned about my pain and severe lack of mobility at such a young age and he wanted to help me get my life back.

I've had Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 18yrs and I had lost a serious amount of mobility and joint movement to the disease. I'm only 33 and I needed to do something because it was too painful to continue that way for the rest of my life. So, I was going to Physical Therapy and trying to get back some mobility in my body and at first I seemed to be improving but as time went on I was getting worse and we couldn't figure out why so I was sent to get an MRI.

Turns out most of my major joints, especially the ones that have been most affected by my Rheumatoid Arthritis over the past 18 years, were bone on bone, which explains why I've been in so much pain the past few years.

In October of 2015 I had both of my knees replaced two weeks apart and then I had my right shoulder replaced in early December. My recovery has gone very well! By January I had full extension and 110 degree bend in both knees which is amazing since before surgery I only had about a 40-60 degree bend and horrible extension. My shoulder has been in a sling for the past 4 weeks and I still have two weeks to go before I get it off and start physical therapy but I've had far less pain then I've had with it for years and I'm looking forward to it getting better and being able to use it again and more fully than I have for a long time.

This has been a life changing experience for me and my family! For the first time in 18 years I'm walking normally and without pain! We went on a walk together as a family for the first time EVER just a few weeks ago and for the first time in my sons 10 years of life we played soccer together! This is just the beginning of many more adventures together as an active family and we are super excited about it!

“I had a partial knee replacement in January 2015, this was complicated by an infection. After three operations, a team of doctors: Clark, Horani & Prince decided to remove all prosthetics and fit me with spacers while I was self administering antibiotics via a PICC line for 8 weeks. After waiting for another 4 weeks Dr prince, assisted by Dr Clark performed the total replacement.

I was up and walking after three days - the pain level never exceeded 1/10. The doctors, nurses and staff were exceptional! The bedside manners of all the doctors were exemplary. ”

  • Total Hip Replacement

“Dr. Prince changed my life! I am 59, own a gym and a personal trainer. I have always worked out and taught fitness classes. After years of trying to ignore the pain in my hip, I decided to finally talk to someone about it. My friend referred me to Dr. Prince. I explained to him my nervousness of not being able to do all of the things I love with a hip replacement. Dr Prince immediately put my mind at ease and explained everything that would happen, how long the recovery would be and what I can expect afterward. He told that since I was younger than most of his patients and have been active my whole life, I will do very well. I was still nervous! He took the time to explain how the procedure would go and how he will make sure I have good range of motion in my hip. Well, I can tell you that the surgery went so well! I had a spinal instead of general anesthesia and woke up feeling great! I had no pain and didn't even take pain medication. It has been a year since my replacement and I am doing great! I have recommended Dr Prince to my friends! ”

“It's been six weeks since Dr. Prince performed a total knee replacement on me. I have nothing but admiration for him, his expertise and bedside manners. This man is a master in his field. I'm doing great, and having no pain in the operative knee. I've been walking without the use of a cane for about three weeks.

I am grateful for you, Dr. Prince.

“Briefly, Iâve suffered from debilitating hip pain for 20 years and an overwhelming fear of elective surgery. Iâve had multiple years of work ups, X-rays and over 15 injections of my L hip. I thought it was all a result of a bad horseback riding fall; Iâve since learned that I was probably born with mild hip dysplasia that was worsened by the fall and the 20 years of walking on a degenerating hip. My hip had migrated almost entirely out of the socket before I gave in and saw Dr. Prince.

My surgery was uneventful and I went home 16 hours afterwards. Along with learning that this was a congenital thing, I learned that my left leg was over an inch too short and that surgery would be able to fix it. All this time I was lopsided and didnât know it! The care I received in the hospital was superb. I struggled a bit at home with pain but ultimately went back to work without restrictions 6 weeks later.

What I want to communicate emphatically is DONâT WAIT like I did! Donât avoid surgery. If youâre in pain, go see Dr. Prince or one of his associates. They are all fabulous as are their staff, DRMC staff and the PAs/APRNs working with the practice.

Now I have NO PAIN!!! Iâm back to the happy, cheerful person I used to be! I laugh out loud all the time! I couldnât be more pleased! Iâm so grateful for Dr. Princeâs talent as a board certified orthopedic surgeon and feel he has literally changed my life. ”

  • Partial Knee Replacement

“After years of injections and nagging pain, Dr. Prince cleaned up some arthritis and replaced the inside half of my left knee. (Oxford) The 4-week physical therapy was painful at times. But, I was persistent and determined to return to pain-free mobility. I now enjoy lots of pain-free time with my grandchildren and active living. It was the right decision for me. THX!”

  • Hip Replacement

“I had my left hip replaced by Dr. Anderson one week ago. I can't believe how well the surgery went. My pain level upon awakening, and for that day, was at level 1, and never was above a level 3, which was on the third day after I was home. My surgery was on Monday morning and I left the hospital on Tuesday morning. I required no pain medicine and my walking started the same day of surgery. My experience so far has been much different than hip surgery a few years ago on the opposite side. And, was I surprised when on the second day home, I received a personal home call visit from Dr. Anderson! It was unannounced, and he mentioned that he just wanted to check on me. And, I live in Dammeron Valley, no short drive from St. George. I know already that I can walk well without assistance, but will continue to use the walker through a second week as Dr. Anderson recommended. This experience was greater than any expectation that I could imagine. A sincere "thank you" to Dr. Anderson from a very satisfied patient. ”

“Dr. Scott Parry is an outstanding Dr. Had my right knee replaced in Jan of 2017. Five weeks later playing 18 holes of golf. Yes I did ride in a cart but was able to play which I couldn't before the knee surgery. I have highly recommended him to friends and family. I am going to see him again now for my left knee. I'm totally confident in Dr. Scott Parry.”

  • Total Hip Arthroplasty

“In early 2020, my health deteriorated in several areas. Blaming it on stressful times in both our country and personally (I am a 78 year-old widow) I sought medical advice to alleviate the increasing pain in my left leg. I was diagnosed with asteoarthritis in my hip but neither a short declining dose of prednisone nor six weeks of intensive physical therapy helped. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, hip surgery was unavailable in my northern Virginia location.

My daughter lives in southern Utah, and upon a colleague's recommendation, she made an appointment for me with Dr. Prince. Following that appointment, he amazingly made room for me in his busy schedule and on July 27 I underwent a total hip replacement. I know Dr. Prince's surgical skills are well recognized, but I also want to say that early in that first appointment I felt confident in putting myself in his care. He is easy to talk to and takes his time making sure you understand important considerations. He has also assembled a knowledgeable and friendly staff who make you feel welcome and are happy to answer any questions.

My surgery was virtually painless and recovery was easier than I ever imagined. Dr. Prince gave me back not only my mobility but also my enjoyment of life. I will always be grateful.”

  • Right knee replacement

“As I write this, it has been one year and three months since my right knee was replaced by Dr. Prince and his team. The difference after my recovery time is remarkable. Before the surgery, I could walk only a quarter mile before the pain would hit. Now, my wife and I take almost daily half-hour hikes in the hills near Brio, and I ride my bike to and from work at the college four times a week. I can now walk for miles and not feel any discomfort in my knee.

If anyone at all has a question as to whether or not Dr. Prince shold be the physician to replace a knee, look no further. He and his staff are among the best the profession has to offer.”
